21 Gunk

Look, I'm really very sorry about this, but it has to be another old cartoon this week I'm afraid. This moving house and having a second child is very stressful and time consuming I must say, more than I was expecting to be honest. But I'm trying, I really hope to have some new stuff up next week if all goes to plan, ok? If anything, I've at least been working on some fresh ideas. Thank god I have such a massive back catalogue of cartoons to use! I just need to start replenishing them soon!


Not much to say about this week's awesome example of high-brow humour, except my favourite part of the whole cartoon is the facial expression of the guy in the back with his eyes looking up...If there's one thing I'm good at, it's drawing facial expressions of dudes taking shits and whacking off, what can I say...it's a talent.

The Pool Pony

I'm back! Did you miss me? Did you notice I was gone? I'm sorry that there was no cartoon last week and a real lack of updates, but I've been moving house so it's be unavoidable I must say. I had a few issues getting my internet back up which was to blame for last week, it took almost 2 weeks to get it transferred as the chick who did my transfer was new and she basically cocked it right up. So I'm still really pressed for spare time at the moment, and my birthday was last Saturday so I've been quite busy, so another old cartoon this week.


This cartoon probably came from that one of my favourite animals to draw, for some unknown reason, as horses. I have no idea why, it's not like I'm a massive fan of horses or anything, I'm a bird guy honestly.....Oh and I really did like the idea of a horse humping a kids pool toy, who wouldn't?


So I'll really try and get some new stuff up again soon, I am super keen to 'test out' my shiny new office workspace and to also upload some photos of it...once it's clean and organised, seriously there's shit everywhere at the moment. So until next time!

Lost?

Have to be rather brief this week as I'm knee deep in the middle of moving house 'today' (I'm typing this up Sunday night and setting it to post on Monday night, so hopefully I can post on all my social networks to let you know it's up.....if not and you're reading this, then you're awesome for checking here anyway!) Have I ever mentioned how much I hate moving house? No? Well, yes I freakin' hate it with a passion.....


So an old school, classic this week unfortunately....I do have a good idea that I was planning on doing 'tonight' (Sunday) but time got the better of me, plus I'm tired from lifting heavy boxes all day, so hopefully I can get it done for next week, and fingers crossed my internet will be back up next week in time for me to post it! I haven't missed a Monday yet, I hope next week isn't the first! Come on iiNet, do me proud!


I had some good feedback from last week's 'toon, thanks everyone! But you know what the best  feedback I got was? My 2 year old son just happen to see the cartoon and he said "Lego Man" when he saw it, so on drawing an awesome Lego Man, job well done. Give yourself a pat on the back.....

Lending a Hand

Hello. So the idea for this cartoon started out, as they mostly do, as a simple idea, which was pretty much "Lego people using removable body parts for sex". At first it was going to be about Legomen interchanging their wangs, which then lend me to thinking what a Lego 'adult' store would be like (honestly, I still kind of like this idea a bit, one day I may still use it). It was at this point where I hit a speed bump with this idea for a bit, as I think I was overcomplicating it a tad. So after letting the idea rest a bit I resurrected it a few weeks back when I had an idea about a Legoman stealing someone's hand to give himself a 'stranger'....don't know what that is? Well then let my old friend Urbandictionary explain: 

stranger
	The act of sitting on one's hand for 20 minutes to make it go numb, and proceeding to jerk off with that hand. This will give the feeling of a hand job from someone else. I gave myself the stranger many times in college.

As you can see, sometimes simplifying an idea sometimes makes it better. Now although this pretty much is the final idea, it took me awhile to get a good visual of it in my mind. I knew I wanted to essentially have the joke about a guy stealing his room mates hand, but it wasn't until a few days ago when I was brainstorming ideas when pretty much this exact image just popped into my head when I read over the idea. I was so happy when I got it out too! I love the "Thwap, Thwap, Thwap" noise too, not sure if that is the official jerking off sound, but for my cartoons it is now! Expect it to return....

Now, what other pop culture icons can I sexualize in a cartoon? I actually have a rough idea about GI Joe and his 'kung-fu grip' that I need to nut out one day, any others?
