Forbidden Fruit

Greetings my friends! How are we all?

One of the reasons I do what I do, other than the love of art and drawing is spending time brainstorming ideas and that moment when you finally nut out a really good idea. Not sure if most of you have experienced it before, but it's a very satisfying feeling of accomplishment, like a few weeks ago when I came up with the final idea for the Smart Bomb gag, that was a damn good feeling. In that case I think it was just the fact that for years I've always wanted to do a religion gag, but never actively brainstormed one, and then the perfect one just popped into my head, it was awesome. Truly one of those "Damn, that's so good I'm taking the rest of the day off" moments. 

So saying that, this cartoon is one of those rare moments when the complete idea just pops into my head while I'm walking around not even thinking about cartoon ideas! Which once again is a damn fine feeling. I was on my way to work the other night and I happen to walk past the Apple Store, where someone had obviously just bought a Mac because all the employees where applauding. So, I'm not normally a fan of jokes where you need to read the blog bit underneath, but this one may be like that as I'm sure some of you aren't aware of the fact that in an Apple Store when you buy a Mac all the employees start clapping and applauding you, yes I know it's downright strange....but that's Apple, they always like doing things differently. My lady Penelope wants to know if you can pay a little extra for them not to do it, to bad we'll never find out as there's no way in hell I'm ever buying a Mac. Anyway as I walked past I heard the applause and for some reason thought "Man, I wonder if one of them gets laid do they all applaud the chick as she's coming out of the house the next morning". I wasn't going to do it first off, for the reason earlier, I'm just not sure how many people would get it honestly, but in sticking to my new found attitude I went, "Fuck it, I find it funny so screw it, I'm doing it!". I do hope you all like it and find it funny as well, especially you people who actually work in Apple Stores, yes I know we've had our differences in the past Apple fans, but let's just get along......I fell dirty now.

Oh, so the end of this week and the start of next week I'm moving house....I so hate moving, so I won't have all my equipment set up for next Monday so I'll set it to automatically send out an old cartoon and hopefully the week after I'll be all set up and ready to do a new cartoon from a new base of operations! I was going to quickly smash out 2 cartoons today, but I have so much shit to pack so I need to get motoring. So until next week! Oh and there's a special hidden surprise in this cartoon for a particular person, she knows who she is......;-)
